Michael Lickerman serves as Managing Partner and General Counsel for Bella Terra Partners.  Since graduating from a top 10 Ivy League law school in 1995, Mike has been practicing law for more than 15 years, first for large national firms and then for over 10 years in his own practice.  Though he’s mainly concentrated on real estate transactions, Mike has also served as general counsel to many of his clients, which has afforded him a wide range of experience in solving clients’ legal and business problems. This senior level professional experience makes Mike a sought-after partner in any complicated occupancy decision and lease negotiation.

Mike began his career counseling insurance companies and their clients in litigation matters. In 2001, Mike decided to leverage his entrepreneurial spirit, business sense, and legal acumen by starting his own law firm.  Simultaneously, he also obtained his real estate broker’s license in 2002, understanding the value his unique combination of skills would bring to businesses faced with difficult and confusing occupancy decisions. Since then, Mike has helped numerous businesses with a variety of their legal and business needs, including real estate purchase and sales, leasing and leasehold buyouts, sale leasebacks and complex lease negotiation and structuring.

Mike brings a great range and depth of experience to Bella Terra Partners and prides himself on knowing how to navigate complex deal structures and negotiations to achieve a speedy, successful outcome for our clients.
